Upcoming Webinar: CoreDX DDS Tools: Maxmizing your CoreDX DDS Investment June 15, 2022 10am MST The environments where CoreDX DDS is deployed are diverse, and often complex with networking challenges and limitations. While some environments are simple local area networks, others are comprised of multiple subnets, complex routes, internet connections, or very low bandwidth connections. Some contain embedded devices with limited bandwidth, or applications that must dynamically adapt to new topics or data types during system operation. Twin Oaks Computing offers a variety of CoreDX DDS tools to maximize the performance, reliability, and scalability of DDS systems deployed into environments where standardized DDS features simply do not fit or perform well. In this webinar, you'll learn about the available and commonly used CoreDX DDS tools from Twin Oaks Computing, and how those DDS tools enable our customers to build and successfully deploy robust systems in a wide variety of challenging networks and environments. CoreDX DDS Tips & Tricks Welcome to this month's edition of CoreDX DDS Tips & Tricks, where our engineers provide quick bits of information to help our customers. This month's topic is about initializing a QoS object before using it. If you're creating a new QoS structure to provide a create_xxx() method, it's important to ensure all QoS fields are initialized. The easiest way to do this is to obtain a copy of the QoS structure initialized with CoreDX DDS default settings and then apply the specific settings needed for the application. The following methods will return a fully initialized QoS object:
