TOC Wins SBIR Phase I

The U.S. Navy has awarded Twin Oaks Computing a Phase I Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) contract to explore Backplane Internet Protocol Connectivity in Linux. Several DoD tactical platforms make use of embedded computers based on the VME or cPCI backplane standards, and this project will enable high performance network communications over these backplanes. This technology will enable communication while reducing Size, Weight and Power requirements - critical resources for modern systems.
